In many industrial processes, saturated steam is not enough – especially when machines such as turbines or engines are to be operated with steam. This is where the superheater comes into play: it converts saturated steam into superheated steam with a higher temperature profile – efficiently, reliably and precisely tailored to your requirements.
By coupling our evaporators with a superheater, the overall efficiency of your steam system can be significantly increased. This allows you to make better use of your energy – and get more out of your steam.
The right version for every application
Depending on the structural conditions and performance requirements, we at Kraps use smooth or finned tubes, which are available in different designs. In this way, a maximized heating surface can be achieved even with limited installation space.
Our superheaters are used wherever superheated steam is required - e.g. in power plants, industrial plants or turbine processes. We develop and manufacture each module tailored to your specific application.
