Welding is not a secondary activity at Kraps, but a central quality promise. As a qualified specialist welding company, we are proficient in all common processes: TIG, MAG, manual metal arc (electrode) and submerged arc welding – and not only in the plane, but also overhead and in the mirror. Our welders are professionals who have mastered their work – even where others have long since given up.

Whether simple steel construction or complex apparatus with an operating pressure of over 350 bar – we not only weld non-pressurized components, but also sophisticated tanks, heat exchangers and pipe systems. Even challenging mixed joints are part of our everyday work. Our experience, our care and our processes guarantee one thing: connections you can rely on.

All our welders have valid procedure qualifications and work according to clear standards. Visual testing (VT), dye penetrant testing (PT) and X-ray testing (RT) are standard practice for us – not the exception. This results in documented quality with traceability, as required for pressure vessels, safety components and highly stressed connections.
